Fewer Than a Third of Americans Know Supreme Court Rulings are Final, a New Survey Finds

Comments

For all of you who seem to think that the fault lies with the Democrats:

Perhaps you might want to take a class in statistics? The Republican party has been the majority party, in Congress, for about 66% of the time (in the last twenty years). Their numbers in controlling the Presidency? 50% of the time. So, if there is a problem with education, then I might suggest that it is MUCH more bipartisan than your posts appear to claim.

Fewer than 5% would read about that survey if it were put in their hands. The current administration owes its success to a know-nothing electorate. Social Security, global warming and other long term problems are not going to be solved, because like the levees around New Orleans, most people do not pay attention to threats until the water is up to their chins.

The reason no one knows who the Chief Justice is, is that he's kept such a low profile. And in this administration that's unusual.

On the other hand the American Idol judges are on TV at least 20 times a week in primetime whether the show is on or not. Even my 84-year old father knows who Simon is.

This doesn't suprise me. One third of registered voters are Democrats and they are still disputing the 2000 election even today. Just ask Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi

Another example of why the educational system needs to be overhauled. Public funds are being spent on Muslim-only schools in New York and Mustlim educational programs in California. The NEA is nothing but a political arm of the Democratic party and brainwashes our children with revisionist history lessons. What a wonderful press release of the failure of government spending.
