The Power of Federal Charity

Relatively few Americans understand the power of the Combined Federal Campaign. Now you can add Rush Limbaugh to the list.

The commenter above does not understand the CFC, nor fundraising in the Non-profit world. The CFC is the most donor friendly means of donating to a charity or charties if you are a Federal employee, for these reasons:

The Federal public servant donor, with one pledge card and one transaction

● Can donate to multiple charities with just one pledge.

● Gives money to the non-profit before it ever hits their checkbook.

● Accrues no interest charges from credit card donations.

● Feels secure—their personal information is never on the Web; government payroll systems are secure.

● May remain anonymous if they wish. Anonymous donors are some of a non-profit’s best supporters, because they already know what the non-profit is doing and do not want the charity to waste money telling them what they already know.

CFC has on average 10% administrative costs. Better to make any donations directly to the charity of your choice.

The only list I'd add Rush to is the one with hypocrites, big mouths and opinion that only republicans can understand. WOW
