By far, the most effective way for government to prevent ethical and legal abuses within its ranks is not to focus myopically on individual instances of wrongdoing as they occur, but to imbue one’s workforce with an affirmative, all-permeating sense of integrity -- to shine a light of excellence that dispels the shadows from which malfeasance sprouts.
--Interior Department Inspector General Earl Devaney and Chris Martinez, a member of his staff, in "Stopping the Buck," an essay in the Spring/Summer 2007 edition of the Journal of Public Inquiry.

Keep looking at AF Contracts and people with the checkbooks....the bucks are still flying out the window.

The Service needs an audit at every installation by knowledgeable people all the way down. They have this baaaaad habit of giving the credit cards to people that have no knowledge of what is needed......and Commanders that blow money on useless things like Flatscreen TV's to replace dry erase boards that do the job without the need for power.

Modernization is great and all but they think we will have oil for another 100 years and don't mind burning more electricity when they don't need to.

I hate to say it.....but it's time to go back to the Army Air Corps.

Nothing motivates a worker more than to see their boss put in an honest day's work.

Good luck on getting this done, don't agree with this method. Here's a sure fired way to put a stop to ethical and legal abuses, publicly chastise the individual prior to firing them and revoking their benefits. Make sure their name is on list posted on the internet for all to see.
