Real-Life Rosie the Riveter

The Library of Congress has begun using photo-sharing site Flickr to upload about 3,000 stunning historical images from the 14 million the agency has in its collections. They include this amazing image of a real-life Rosie the Riveter during World War II:

I say that it was great for them to do so, for the war effort and help out our troops and nation! Most themen were in the service and gone fighting.

It also proved that many things can be accomplished if we work together (considering the US was behind in military equipment at the start of the war).

This photo shows us why the greatest generation can barely hear or see the generations that have followed. They thought that the sacrifices they made then would pay off in the future, and for the most part they are correct. We now are required to have all the safety gear listed above, its just sad that they lost so much to give us what we have.
