After this weekend's storm, federal agencies in the Washington, DC area will remain closed on Monday as the region digs itself out. To all our readers in the area, stay safe and warm, and good luck getting your cars out of the snow!

  • South Jersey and Philly ended up with more snow than DC and yet WE have to go to work today! I wonder how THAT happened!

  • Bethany,

Did you notice the snow totals in the Maryland suburbs? We got 36" in my neighborhood.

  • So, your Maryland suburb got 36" and we got 30" in New Jersey. I will be the adult and say that BOTH of us should have been off.

  • There is no need to be insulting, I never implied that you should not be off, only that there was a good reason that the DC federal offices should be closed. Take it up with you area managers and don't insult me.
