USDA's Egg Grades: Not What They're Cracked Up To Be
Does a USDA Grade A rating mean your eggs are safe? The short answer is no, the Wall Street Journal reports. It just means the eggs' size and color pass muster and the shells aren't cracked. It's the Food and Drug Administration that's responsible for egg safety.
